Tailgating may only take place within the footprint of the parking space with the following considerations:
• No objects (tents, tables, chairs, grills, etc.) may be placed or encroach into emergency access lanes, parking lot driving lanes or other parking spaces.
• Tents, awnings and canopies larger than 10 feet by 10 feet (ten-by-ten) are prohibited in campus parking lots. Individuals are responsible for properly securing their tents, awnings and canopies by using anchor weights. Stakes may not be used to anchor any tent, awning or canopy. Tents, awnings and canopies may not be chained to landscaping or signs.
• Individuals may purchase additional parking permits, if available, to increase space for tailgating.
• Individual(s) purchasing the tailgating/parking spot are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
• Overnight parking is restricted to RV parking in the Moby Arena Lot (#195) with a purchased overnight pass. This will only be allowed for specific games with restrictions.
• Individuals may not erect or move barricades, barrels, fencing or any other traffic control devices.
• All parking signs and instructions must be obeyed and strictly followed.
• Individuals are responsible for properly securing overhead objects (flags, kites, balloons, etc.).
• It is the responsibility of each tailgate party to secure tailgating items prior to entering the stadium.
• Use of portable generators is limited to quiet units.
• All motor homes require exhaust extensions that reach the top of the motor home. For the safety of everyone, motor homes without an extension should not operate a generator.
• Animals must be kept on a leash of six (6) feet or shorter in all tailgating areas. Owners must remain in control of their animals at all times. All buildings on campus, including Canvas Stadium, do not allow animals with the exception of service dogs for individuals with disabilities and service dogs in training.
• Music must be confined to individual tailgating areas and speakers must be directed into the individual tailgate area.
• Use of ATVs, golf carts, gators, scooters, mopeds and other motorized recreational vehicles are prohibited with the exception of emergency and authorized university personnel.
• All trash from tailgates must be disposed of properly in designated containers.
• Tailgating begins four (4) hours prior to kickoff and concludes 30 minutes before kickoff.
