Question and answer

Can you dim the LCD display on the front of the stereo unit. If so, how do you do this?

Since this stereo comes with alarm, I assumed it was designed for bedside use. Cant sleep in a room with the glaring blue led. Please instruct how to dim or I will be returning item to store. Hope you can help, I like the sound quality.

When I turn the unit on, the sound is too loud. How can I set it to come on at a lower volume?

Most of the buttons don't do anything. I can set the time and the alarm. I can change modes but when in CD it doesn't play, when on Radio there is no sound and no display to indicate whether AM or FM or what station and there is no sound. Basically all that's left is the clock.

Inorder to turn the speaker on do you need the remote control or can you also turn on the speakers with the buttons on the unit?

I see on the photo the remote is connected by wire? Do you need the remote to get the sound from the speakers? Thanks

I have a cd Home music system model number Hm3817dtblkn-rs . I have misplaced my remote and I can not get the radio to turn on I press the power button but nothing happens

My hm3817dtblk was working fine. Now power button stays red no matter if you push it, blue light is on 12:00 constantly and flashing. Sometimes if you push source button CD and radio will come on blue but doesn't stay. Tried unplugging and pushing reset in back.

I asked several questions one week ago no answers but does show my questions? What's up with that?
